■Overview
“PERFORMANCE” event is to compete the Jump Rope (Single Rope) performance by judging criteria.
■Scoring system
5 judges give the score out of 10 points each (maximum 50points=5judges x 10points). The score is given from the overall performance, referencing with “Difficulty”, “Creativity”, “Originality”;
Difficulty | Overall score for difficulty such as multiples, steps, wraps, releases, powers, etc. No score is given for each skill. Judges evaluate the subjective “difficulty”. |
Creativity | Overall score for expression. How well athletes perform in rhythm/to the music, maximize the use of costumes/moves with the performance, etc. |
Originality | Overall score for originality. How much identity/original world athletes show, etc. |
<In the case of Tie>
・One with the bigger number of highest points will be ranked higher.
・If the above is the same, judges will discuss to determine the ranking.

Start/finish signal | There are two ways to start the performance: “Start on the stage”, “Start off the stage (Music first)”. “Start on the stage”: Music starts (performance starts) while athletes are on the stage. “Start off the stage (Music first)”: Music starts (performance starts) while athletes are off the stage (then, they come into the stage). <“Start on the stage”> ① When athletes are ready on stage, one of them raises his/her hand to the person in charge of the stage. ② The sound engineer starts the music. ③ The performance starts when the music starts. ④ The performance ends when the music ends. <“Start off the stage (Music first)”> ① When athletes are ready off stage, one of them raises his/her hand to the person in charge of the stage. ② The sound engineer starts the music. ③ The performance starts when the music starts. ④ The performance ends when the music ends. |
Costume | Any costume is allowed unless they are against public policy |
Music | Music includes sounds that end with an editing effect (fade out, echo, etc.). Be careful not to use obscene/foul words/phrases. Music must be submitted as mp3 format. |
Props | Any kinds of props are allowed unless they damage/dirty the stage, endangers the audience. |
Prohibition/ Disqualification | When the number of members is increased/changed. *Only allowed when the number of members decreases due to unavoidable circumstances such as injury. When the majority of judges confirm that acrobatic skills are dangerous through run-up, takeoff, somersault, landing, etc. When ropes/athletes fall off the stage |
